Today, the Honda Civic lineup includes all sorts of different models, trim levels and configurations. In addition to the Civic Sedan, there are Coupe, Hatchback, Si and Type R models all making up one of the most expansive lineups the Civic has ever had to offer. We wanted to focus on the original, though, and give you the rundown on just what makes the traditional 2020 Honda Civic Sedan such an excellent option here in Berrien County MI.

The Honda Civic has been around since all the way back in 1972, but its current and tenth generation kicked off just a few short years ago in the 2016 model year. The Civic Sedan is a traditional four-door car with a trunk, slated into the compact sedan segment.

Although, as mentioned, there are several other Civic models out there, the Civic Sedan itself is available in five different trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring. Each trim level increases in starting price as each one also gains more and more standard features. Regardless of trim, however, there is at least one feature that’s standard across the board – the Honda Sensing safety suite. This suite of safety technologies includes things like the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keeping Assist System and more, each designed to reduce the risk of collision on the road.

But there is plenty more that makes the Civic Sedan such an excellent choice. Features like the available heated seats or 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks enhance convenience and comfort while bonuses like the available 10-speaker premium audio system makes the Civic Sedan even more fun to ride in. As for performance, the Civic Sedan is available with either a 2.0L 4-cylinder or 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine beneath its hood. The former generates 158 horsepower while the latter bumps things up to 174 HP, giving it an extra sporty kick.
